Watermill. Circa mid C19. Granite rubble with granite dressings. Scantle slate
hipped roof.
Plan: Rectangular plan, mill building with wheel pit at rear for large (25') overshot wheel extending for most of the length of the building. There are masonry piers at either end of the pit for carrying former leat launder. Machinery including pair of stones, is said to be intact (not inspected).
Exterior: 2 storeys over basement. Original openings, C19 or old windows and doors. Symmetrical 2 window north front with central doorway. Ledged doors. Remains of possibly original 12-pane 2-light windows to first floor openings and at ground floor right. Doorway into basement at left hand end. Rear has remains of wooded waterwheel with iron hub. Small opening to basement towards right; tall opening at ground floor left and tall central opening to first floor.
Interior: Not inspected.
Trembath Mill was last worked in 1941 (former list description).
