20/54 Howe Cottages
(Nos. 1 & 2)

G.V. II

2 cottages. Early C18 and early C19. Slate rubble walls, the oldest part
painted and rendered. Graduated greenslate roof with rebuilt roughcast chimney
stacks. Older cottage to left (No. 2) of 2 storeys, 3 bays, that to right of 2
bays (No. 1), all under common roof. Cottage to left has C20 door and further
plank door to right, both in plain openings. Similar C20 door in right
cottage. Sash windows, with glazing bars on ground-floor, all in plain
reveals. Listed for G.V. with Nook Cottage and Nook Farmhouse.
