adjoining barn

Farmhouse and adjoining barn. Mid C17 with C19 extension and alterations.
Painted roughtcast walls on battered plinth, under graduated greenslate roof
with stone chimney stacks. 2 storeys, 3 bays with lower barn to left and
extension to rear forming overall L-shape. Right C20 door in plain opening.
Casement windows with glazing bars, that to left on ground floor in enlarged C19
surround. Barn has plank doors in painted stone surrounds. Extension has plank
door and sash windows in stone surrounds. Interior has inglenook with firebeam
and heck partition. Built-in panelled court cupboard dated and inscribed IW
1665.
