House, dated 1795 on rainwater head. Rubble wall now (1983) stripped of
render. Roof re-slated in C20; now without any chimneys. 2 storeys, 4 bays.
Inserted doorcase (traditionally from Hartley Castle), dated 1719 on lintel,
with reeded and fluted engaged columns carrying open segmental pediment. 1
window to left, 2 windows to right; 4 windows to 1st floor. All have timber
lintels. Door, sash windows, and gutter are all C20.
