pavilions

GV II

House with pavilions (now used for storage). Late C18/early C19; later
additions and alterations. Rendered rubble. C20 concrete-tiled roof to main
house; north pavilion has flat roof, south pavilion has hipped roof,part
graduated slate, part corrugated iron. Main house symmetrical, 2 storeys, 3
bays; pavilion single-storey, single-bay. House: Central recessed panelled
door in semicircular-headed surround; 16-pane sash to either side and 3 above.
Band between floors; rendered end chimneys. North pavilion has central recess
(blocked door/window?). Entrance to south pavilion in lean-to set back on south
return; small plank loft door in front.
