House, reported to have 1760's date on fireplace; later additions and
alterations. Coursed rubble; house lime-washed. Graduated slate roofs with
stone ridges. Cross-passage plan with house extended into panelled range to
rear. 2 storeys, 7 bays overall. 4-bay house has plank cross-passage door with
3 segment-headed windows to each floor on right. Top right-hand window is
casement, rest are fixed; all have glazing bars. Blocked opening over door.
Plank byre door has window to right with loft door above. Corniced, stepped
stone end chimneys to house. Corrugated-iron lean-to shed in angle between byre
and barn (see separate description) is not of interest.
