8/202 Old School House

GV II

Elementary school, now detached cottage. 1852. Flint with brick bands, Welsh slate
roof, brick stack. L-plan. One storey, 3-window. Tudor-arched planked door with
ornamental hinges in wing at right angles to road, wing to right has 3-light wooden
casement, 3-light and 2-light casements with leaded arched lights. Right return has
3-light casement and gabled limestone bellcote. Gable-end to road has C20 three-light
casement. Rear has C20 flat-roofed extensions.
