House. Probably early C18, with alterations and additions of circa mid C19 and C20.
Granite rubble; the upper level at the front slate-hung; partly rendered. Slate roof
with ridge tiles and gable ends. Gable end stacks with rendered shaft to left, the
shaft truncated to right.
Plan: 2-room plan with central entrance; the room to left was the kitchen and the
room to right the parlour, both heated from gable end stacks. C20 addition at the
right end.
Exterior: 2 storeys, nearly symmetrical 2-window front. First floor has two C19 6-
pane sashes. Ground floor has central doorway with C20 plank door, C19 6-pane sash
to left and C19 2-light 2-pane casement to right; all ground floor openings with
granite lintels. At the right end is a small C20 flat-roofed addition. The left end
has external stack with curved oven at the base; the upper level is rendered. The
rear is rendered, with a small C20 single light at first floor centre.
