House with adjoining barn and byre. House C17; barn to left and byre to right
are later additions. 3 separate builds, all of coursed squared rubble with
quoins. Graduated slate roof. 2 storeys with small lean-to against south
return. 3-bay house has central plank door; 4-light window to left, 2-light
window and fire window to right. Continuous hoodmould with labels over ground-
floor openings. One 3-light window and two 2-light windows to lst floor. All
windows stone-mullioned in chamfered surrounds. Stepped and corniced stone end
chimneys. White-washed 2-bay byre has plank door and casement window (inserted
in part-blocked doorway) to ground floor and casement above; stone end chimney.
2-bay barn has wagon opening with smaller door to left, both plank. Plank door
in lean-to.
