House formerly rectory. C17 remodelled in early-mid C19 with C20 addition.
Rendered probably cob and rubble walls. Gable ended slate roof. 4 brick stacks, 1
axial the others gable end.
Plan: originally 3-room and through passage plan, lower end to the right. Hall
stack backs onto passage. The house was refronted and remodelled in the early to
mid C19, the partition removed from between the hall and inner room and a wing added
behind the higher end. In the C20 further rear additions were made.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Asymmetrical 4-window front of early-mid C19 2 and 3-light
diamond leaded pane casements with cinquefoiled heads and square hoodmoulds. To
left of centre is glazed double door of similar design but with 2-centred arched
heads. Probably contemporary glazed porch with canopied lead roof and a 2-centred
doorway on front and righthand side walls. C19 6-panel door behind. C19 wing
behind left-hand end-and C20 additions to the right.
interior inaccessible at time of survey, seen to have mostly C19 fittings and
joinery but some exposed C17 chamfered ceiling beams.
