Cottage. Circa mid C17 with C20 addition. Rendered cob and rubble walls. Gable
ended thatch roof. Brick stack at left-hand end.
Plan: originally either 1 or 2 room plan at present consists of large heated room
to left and very small room to right. C20 1 storey addition at left-hand end.
Exterior: 2 storey. Regular 2 window front. On 1st floor is C19 small-paned
window to its left. C20 2 and 3-light casements on ground floor. Gabled porch at
rear with C20 glazed door.
Interior: substantial chamfered cross beam with raised spade stops. Open fireplace
with chamfered lintel obscured benind C19 mantlepiece. Feet of insubstantial
straight roof timbers visible on 1st floor and unlikely to be original.
