Public house and shop. Early C18 with C19 and C20 alterations.
Colourwashed brick with pantile roof having brick coped gables
and kneelers, 2 gable and single ridge stacks. L-plan. 2 storey
plus attics, 8 bay front, arranged 5:3 around the corner, plinth,
first floor band, dentillated eaves course. Central panelled
door with overlight in C20 pedimented wooden doorcase, flanked
by pairs of plain sashes and above are 5 similar windows. To
right a blocked doorway and a glazed door to angle flanked by 4
light shop window with plain cornice. To first floor 2 further
windows and a blocked opening. All windows have segmental
heads. Above are 3 plain dormers with flat leaded roofs and
planked cheeks.
