South, courtyard aspect. (The listing describes the north aspect). Cottage built of coursed limestone and ironstone rubble with ashlar quoins. Pantile roof with brick chimney stacks. The date over the porch of the one storey extension is 1856. The one and a half storey cottage has an inscribed panel between the upper windows. (Photo Mar 2014).
