Silverlake

A Grade II Listed Building in Sticklepath, Devon

Silverlake, Sticklepath, West Devon

Uploader's Comments

This is the house I have lived in for twenty years. Silverlake is a fascinating house dating back to the late eighteenth century. Previous owners include the Finch Family who owned the Finch Foundry in Sticklepath.
The house is made up of three small cottages, plus another cottage at the rear which was occupied by PC Bloomfield’s wife. It is called Bloomfield Cottage.
The house is surrounded by water, we have the river Taw to the rear, the Foundry Leat at the front and an overflow stream on the Western boarder.
