Late C13 house, timber-framed and plastered, with red plain tile roof, hipped
to east end. Two storeys. Three window range C19 double hung vertical sliding
sashes. Originally aisled, the main frame remains with a high quality roof
with crown posts with moulded bases and capitals, and centre hall crown post
with short moulded shaft and steeply cambered tie beam. Roof heavily sooted.
Jowled storey posts, chased for passing braces, moulded ashlar plates in
original hall.
