HERE UNDER LYETH THE BODY OF GREGORY HOCKMORE OF BUCKLAND BARON ESQUIRE WHO DYED THE THIRD DAY OF FEBRUARY (1653) HE HAD TO WIFE MARY YE ELDEST DAUGHTER OF SIR RICHARD REYNELL OF OGWELL KNHT BY WHICH HE HAD ISSUE THREE SONNES (ONE OF THEM DYED VERY YOUNG) AND TWO DAUGHTERS AND WAS AGED 42 YEARES & MONTHS AND ONE & TWENTY DAYS
