House now inn. "M / EE / 1730" on plaque, with later additions and
alterations including probable C19 range to right; C20 range to rear of no
special interest. Magnesian limestone and brick faced in whitewashed
roughcast with ashlar dressings and Welsh slate roof. L-shaped on plan.
2 storeys, 3 bays with gable-ended range of 2 storeys and one first-floor
window. Entrance to centre bay of main range, C20 ornamental plank double
doors within ashlar surround with vertical tooling and hood. supporting
ornamental ashlar plaque. 12 and 16-pane casement windows throughout with
stone sills to ground floor and all under hoods. Remains of ashlar coping.
End and side stacks.
