House. Probably late C16 with later additions and alterations including
late C20 extensions to left and right of no particular interest. Timber-
framed with pinkish-brown brick ground floor and cladding to rear, with
Welsh slate roof. Probably end aisled hall house originally. 2 storeys, 2
bays of frame. Entrance to rear. Ground floor: wall posts, middle rail,
studding with tension braces. Casement windows. End stack. Interior shows
timber framing including wall posts to front and rear. Stud partition
between rooms with cross beam. Bressumer beam above living room fireplace,
chamfered beam with tongue stops to living room. Exposed joists.
Replacement beam to kitchen, exposed joists. First floor: remains of tie
beam and main posts to front and rear walls. Exposed studding with tension
braces. Wall plate to front and rear walls.
