Longhouse, probably mid C18. 2 builds but almost contemporary.
Coursed squared tooled stone with pantiled roof; stone copings,

One storey and loft. Entrance front has hearth-passage door to
left of centre and small loft window above, both rebated. Further
left another byre door flanked by vent slits; 2 vents in similar
positions above, under eaves. Right (house) part blank but for 1
small window at extreme right. Roof has stone ridge and copings,
central stack with cornice missing, pointed kneelers at north end
and square at south. Pitching doors in return gables. Rear shows
house front: At left a single light then a 2-light mullioned
window, both chamfered. At right a boarded byre door, with narrow
chamfer, flanked by joggled slits; 3 similar slits above.

Interior: walls about 2-ft. thick. Doorways from passage to byre
and house, the latter chamfered and with wood inner lintel. Plain
C18 stone fireplace with salt and spice cupboard recesses to right.
Salt cupboard has rebate for small door. All joinery gone. Post
