Circa 1861-62 by Lockwood and Mawson. Gothic style. Six bays. Fishtail-slated roof with coped gables and gabled window bays. Rusticated grit stone ashlar with strings, buttresses and pairs of gargoyles between bays. Windows with rusticated tracery and hood moulds. Five-light west window and two-light nave windows. Arched doorway with trefoil head and receeding orders, and hood mould with ball flower terminals. Tower on south-west corner with octagonal belfry and steeple. Included for townscape value of spire.
