Farmhouse. Late C18 with later alteration and extension. Square limestone
with brick eaves course; brick extension; pantile roof with brick stacks.
Central-stairhall plan, one room deep; rear extension added. 2-storey,
5-window front. Central part-glazed door with raised and fielded panels.
2-light, 12-pane horizontal sliding sash over door. Other windows are of 3
lights, those to left of door small-paned and top-opening, those to right
18-pane, horizontal sliding sashes. End windows to right are false.
Painted stone sills to all windows. Painted tooled wedge lintels to all
openings except to window over door which has a flat lintel. End and left
and right of centre stacks. Interior: doors from hall are 6-panelled with
H-L hinges. First room to ground floor right has an enclosed staircase and
plank cupboard doors to right of fireplace with H-L and H hinges. Plank
cupboard door beneath stairs with H-L hinges.
