6/6 Home Farmhouse

GV II
Farmhouse. Late C18 with C19 extension. Dressed sandstone on plinth;
pantile roof with rebuilt brick stacks. Central-staircase plan, one room
deep, with C19 extension to right. 2-storey, 3-window front, with single-
storey and attic, 2-window extension to right. Entrance at rear. 12-pane
sashes with stone sills and flat arches to higher end. Lower end has
cambered arched openings, one with 2-light, small-pane horizontal sliding
sash. Coped gables and shaped kneelers to both roofs. End and right of
centre stacks to higher end. Rear: 2-light, 12-pane horizontal sliding
sashes to ground floor, and unequal 9-pane sashes with stone sills to first
floor. Timber lintels to all windows.
