Inn, now house. 1773 on datestone; C19 and C20 alteration. Roughly tooled
sandstone with pantile roof and brick stacks. Central-entry plan, one room
deep, with outshut. 2-storey, 3-window front. Centre 4-panel door beneath
overlight. 4-pane sashes to ground floor. C20 cross windows to first floor
flank a small 2-light, large-pane horizontal sliding sash. Tooled keystone
lintels to all openings except C20 windows to first floor. Stone sills to
all windows. Keystone to door inscribed:

Stepped eaves course. Coped gables and shaped kneelers. End stacks.
