House. Late C17 with wings added in 1768. Limestone rubble brought to
course, pantile roof. Spinal range, with cross wings to street. 2 storeys,
5 bays with flanking 2-bay wings. 6-fielded-panel double door beneath
divided overlight with consoles carrying cyma moulded cornice above, flanked
by fixed windows beneath flat stone arches, those to second and fourth bays
being blind. Left bay has 6-panel door beneath flat stone arch to
courtyard. Right bay has 2 fixed windows as main range to courtyard. Both
bays blind to street. First floor: fixed windows as ground floor, second
and fourth bays blind. Left bays: blind windows in stone architraves to -
courtyard. Right bay: sashes with glazing bars in stone surrounds. Gable
coping, shaped kneelers. End, ridge and eaves stacks. Square chamfered
gate posts with pyramidal finials, cast iron gates and railings to front of
property. Interior: tripartite stone arched fireplace to kitchen. Groin
vault to left wing.
