House. C17 in origin with C19 and C20 alterations. Limestone rubble
brought to course, C20 pantile roof. Through-passage 3-cell plan. 2
storeys, 4 first-floor windows. C20 panelled door with casement to left and
two 16-pane sashes to right. First floor: 2-light Yorkshire sashes to left,
16-pane sashes to right. Timber lintels throughout. Gable coping, shaped
kneelers, end and ridge stacks. Interior: inglenook fireplace to left end
intact. Several massive chamfered cross beams. The alignment of doorways
and cupboards to the rear of the house suggests a former back passage. This
house was probably raised to 2 storeys and refronted in the early C19.
