Farmbuilding possibly of part-domestic origin. C16. Timber-framed, rubble
sandstone walling, stone slate roof. Single storey, 4 bays. Open arcade on
north side with 3 wallposts set in concrete plinths and with curved braces to
the wallplate, some studs infill the spandrels. Left return: rebuilt gable with
C20 horizontal-sliding door.

Interior: wall posts at left end replaced by brick piers, all other posts remain
and have curved braces to tie beams of principal-rafter trusses, 1 tie beam is
cambered, 2 have soffit mortices. Principal rafters (probably of later date)
support single purlins; some re-used rafters indicate an original roof of common-
rafter form. Attached farmbuildings not of special interest.
