Orangery now nurserymens' store. Probably early C19, for the Wentworth Castle
estate. Red brick in Flemish bond, sandstone walling to rear, ashlar dressings,
Welsh slate roof. Single storey, 5 bays. Ashlar plinth. Full-height openings:
central doorway having overlight with glazing bars, later casements to other bays.
Ashlar entablature, blocking course removed. Hipped roof with moulded plinths to
corniced end stacks. Rear: 3 tall openings with lintels tooled as voussoirs,
lighter cornice with remains of blocking course.

Interior: stone paving; light roof construction (originally glazed) with iron webs
reinforcing apex beneath the ridge.
