House, now 2 dwellings. Mid C18. Narrow red brick in English
garden wall bond 1 and 5, with stepped and cogged eaves; stone
plinth. Pantiled roof with tile ridge, stone gable copings and
stone-coped brick chimneys. 2 storeys, 2 bays, irregular. Left-
of-centre 6-panel door in C20 boarded porch. Left early C19 canted
bay with flat lead roof. 12-pane sash above. In wide right bay a
small sash above an inserted 3-light modern casement. Both upper
windows have stone cills. A small fixed light, possibly a fire
window, at ground floor right. High-pitched swept roof with end
chimneys. Entrance to No. 82, on right return, is a modern glazed
door in a chamfered, alternating-block stone surround.
C19 or early C20 rear extensions are not of special interest.
