Corn mill. c1800. Rubble limestone, stone slate roof. 3 storeys, 3 bays
with 2-storey, l-bay wing on left (to south). 3-storey part (east side):
large quoins. Central, ashlar-quoined, round-arched doorway with boarded
doors flanking bays have projecting sills to C20 casements beneath flat,
brick arches and stone relieving arches. 1st floor: central double doors
with concrete sill and wooden lintel flanked by similar casements with
projecting sills and triangular-headed brick arches. 2nd floor: three C20
casements with projecting sills and cambered brick arches. Wing to left has
rounded left corner and 1 casement. Rear of 3-storey part: doorway cuts
through ashlar walling (formerly the wheel-pit lining); window configuration
as front. Left return (of wing): 2 doorways with segmental brick arches with
casement over each; gable dove-cote opening. Altered interior.
