Dovecote approximately 12 metres to north-west of Adsetts Cottage

Dovecote now outbuilding. Early C18. Deeply-coursed dressed sandstone,
Welsh slate roof. 2 storeys, single cell. Large quoins. Ground-floor doorway
to left has massive sandstone surround; small slit vent to right. 1st-floor
door to right has similar surround and square-cut hoodmould which continues to
left beneath casement in square-faced surround. Shaped kneelers, ashlar gable
copings. Rear: band beneath upper floor. Left return: 2-light square-faced
mullioned window.

Interior: renewed floor retains chamfer-stopped transverse beam. Many nesting
holes now blocked. Renewed roof construction. Attached outbuildings of later
date not of special interest.
