Stable range attached to left wing of Bullhouse Hail including cottage at rear
(formerly listed with the hall as barn)

Stable range and cottage. Dated 1688. For Elkanah Rich. Deeply-coursed,
squared stone, rear of coursed, squared rubble. Welsh slate roof. Two
entrances with shallow segmental heads. Central Diocletian window
(part-blocked), with smaller one above and to left. Two round-arched windows
to right with oculus above. Hollow-chamfered gable copings on plain kneelers
(damaged) to left. Two ashlar stacks with moulded cornices.
Rear: Tudor-arched entrance to cottage and C20 windows. Left gable has a
segmental-arched quoined doorway to right, the lintel inscribed:

Two cross-windows to 1st floor with continuous dripmould over. Blocked
window in gable apex.
