Dell Farmhouse
II
Farmhouse. Early/mid C19. Good limestone, ashlar, stone slate roof. Two
storeys, entrance front has hipped stone porch with segmental arch to C20 plank
door flanked by two small single lights; to the right a 2-light flush chamfer
casement - this and the porch under a continuous stopped drip; at first floor a
3-light mullioned casement. Return front to left is 2 bays with 2 over 3-light
chamfered mullion casements, all under stopped drip. There is a small eaves
stack to the left of the porch, and one at the right gable; the back also has a
further eaves stack and 2-light casements. Lean-to extension. Probably on an
early farm site, but no evidence remains.
