Shown as Lower Cottage on O.S. map. House. C18, altered C19.
Flemish-bond brickwork, tiled roof. L-plan, 3-window wide, 2
storeys. 6-panel front door up stone step, top 2 glazed with
curved glazing bars, fielded below. Lean-to open timber porch.
Each side canted bays, sash windows, lean-to tiled roofs on curved
brackets. First floor sash windows each end, boxes flush with
wall, stone lintel, fluted dummy keystone in centre. Over door
similar window, but with semi-circular head. Gable chimney each
end, built outside main fabric: corbelled caps. Roof hipped left
corner for rear wing. Lean-to wing added to infill angle.
