Stone front of 2 distinct parts. That on the right hand is of 2 storeys
and has een built C19; 1 bay faces Half Moon Street and another bay round
corner faces south-west. Slate hipped roof. Ashlar front. Sash windows
with glazing bars intact. On ground floor facing Half Moon Street, a
similar taller window and a square headed doorway with ashlar dressings.
On the left hand is a lower 3 storey, 2 window bay stone front which retains
C16 or early C17 stone mullioned windows set at different levels than in
right hand portion. Head moulds to windows on upper floors. Ground floor
has continuous fascia above doorway and two 2-tier windows (one of 4-lights
and the other of 5-lights). Over doorway there are small brackets and
a dentil moulding.

The Corner House, Premises occupied by Sherborne Supermarket, The Plume
of Feathers Hotel and The House of Steps form a group with Premises occupied
by C B Brett and Sons, Digby Road.
