Farmhouse. Late C18/early C19. Brick, slate roof hipped to cross
wing on right, brick stacks. L-shape range, 2-storeys. Main
section has 3 windows, cross wing 2, all 12-pane sashes with
splayed brick voussoirs, except for centre and left on first floor
which are 16-pane wood mullion and transoms with lower casements.
Central Forest stone doorcase with pilaster strips enriched with
small carved festoons forming pattern of vertical semi-circles, and
pediment with decorated shallow moulded cornice, with Liverpool
Insurance plaque in centre. Door of 4 flush panels, up 2 stone
steps. with transom light decoratively glazed with 3 X's in
hexagons. Projecting cross wing has brick dentil cornice, and
internal shutters remain in this wing.
