2 storey cottage similar to adjacent property but slightly higher. Voluted
stone corbel to kneeler at foot of gable parapet. Part of roof thatched,
pact has patent pantiles. No 170 has on first floor a 3-light window to
right hand and to left hand; on ground floor to either side of doorway,
a sash window without glazing bars; 6-flush-panelled door in frame.
No 171 has to left hand a 3-light casement above and a 2-tier window below;
corrugated iron and thatched roof. To right hand, frontage is higher with
pantile roof; 2-light modern wood casement above and a 3-light stone
mullioned window and 6-flush-panelled door both with dripmould below.

Premises occupied by Mr Hunt, Digby Estate Nos 170 and 171, Cottages known
as Nos 4 and 2, form a group with the Hospital of Saints John the Baptist
and John the Evangelist, Abbey Close.
