COLN ST DENNIS COLN ROGERS SP 0809 15/139 Barn c60m west of Lower Farmhouse 23.1.52 GV II

Barn, late C18. Random limestone with dressed stone quoins; stone slate roof. Rectangular plan with a projecting porch at the centre of the east side; lean-to extension to the right of the porch. C20 lean-to the left of the porch and at the rear not of special interest. South front with porch with double plank doors off- centre right; large owl hole with landing above; double plank doorway opposite. Square ventilation/putlog holes with dressed stone jambs to the side and end walls. Flat coping and owl holes to the gable ends. Interior: 5 bays with original collar and tie- beams with double purlins. Earliest graffiti 1779.
