Detached cottage. C17. Square-panelled timber framing with
rendered and painted brick infill on a limestone plinth. Thatched
roof with brick stacks. Rectangular plan to main body. Single-
storey extension with pantile roof and lean-to to entrance front
and at the right gable end, not of special interest. Main body;
1½ storeys upper floor with an eyebrow dormer and a 3-light metal
casement. Two-light metal casement with horizontal glazing bars
and shutters to the ground floor. Studded plank door with fillets
within lean-to porch against entrance front. Single eyebrow dormer
at rear with a 3-light metal casement. Four-light wooden casement
and C20 French doors with horizontal glazing bars. Large
projecting stack with C20 shaft at left gable end. Projecting
corner stack at right gable end. Right gable end half-hipped.
