II
Two adjoining houses. Mid/late C18. Brick on slag block plinth,
tile roof with coped verges and kneelers, brick end stacks and
central ridge stack. Brick dentil course at eaves with stepped 2-
brick string below. Single main range of 2 storeys and attic with
small single storey rear wing to each house, and lean-to on left
hand return. Four windows, paired wood casements to first floor,
2-light wood mullion and transoms to ground floor, all with splayed
brick voussoirs and triple keystone. Four gabled dormers, each
with twin 3-pane casements, set high on roof line. Doors placed
centrally to each house up 2 stone steps, with 4 fielded panels and
large projecting pedimented porch hood on brackets.
