Pair of cottages. C17 & C19. Timber-frame with plaster infill and brick
all rendered with thatched roof, brick stacks. Bramble 2 bay C17 cottage
with modern wing at rear, and attached to left, but on higher level, though
ridge continuous, C19 Homa Cottage. Bramble is 2 storey, door at right end
next to Homa, with C20 thatched timber porch. To right small 2-light case-
ment and larger 2-light casement in left bay. Above door and window 4-light
casement and above other window 3-light casement. Inner end of left bay
stack with staircase between it and front with single light on intermediate
level.
Homa is 1½ storey and has centre door with tiled C20 porch. Each side 2-
light casement with, above door and left window, 4-light casement in large
eyebrow dormer and over other window. Smaller eyebrow dormer with 2-light
casement. Roof hipped with ridge piece and ridge stack to Bramble between
bays, and over other window smaller ridge stack to Homa bays.
