Terrace formerly comprising The Stag Inn and two cottages, now a
house and cottage. C17, early C18 and C19. Coursed squared and
dressed limestone with most finely dressed stone at front. Stone
slate roof to Hunters Rest (left), concrete tile roof to Hill
Cottage, stone and C20 artificial stone stacks. Rectangular plan.
Small C20 entrance porches set back from facade at gable ends, not
of special interest. Stag Inn at left end, late C17-early C18, C17
cottage at right-hand end, C19 cottage now forming part of Hunters
Rest joining the two parts. All parts two storeys. Former Stag
Inn 2-windowed with 2 original 2-light stone-mullioned windows to
ground floor. Central C20 door with glazing bars, flat stone hood
with moulded margin supported by consoles. Two and 3-light wood
casements to C19 cottage all within cambered-headed surrounds with
keystones. Central C20 door with glazing bars also with cambered
head and keystone. Two and 3-light double-chamfered stone-
mullioned casements with horizontal glazing bars. C20 four-
panelled door with upper 2-panels glazed off-centre left within
flat-chamfered segmental-headed surround. Gable end and axial
stack. Flat gable end coping.
