Two houses in row. Mid-late C17; C18 and C20 alterations. Random
rubble limestone; ashlar and concrete block chimneys; concrete
tile roof. Two-storey; higher rear wing. Front: mixed
fenestration. Two-light chamfered mullioned casement with
hoodmould to each floor of Ryecottage; doorway with rendered
lintel and C20 door. Six-panel door to Kimberley Cottage, all
casements, C20 replacements except for 3-light recessed chamfered
upper floor casement with hoodmould. Iron spear-topped railings to
forecourt of Kimberley Cottage has iron finials to principal posts,
further gateway an indication that row originally comprised 3
houses. Chimney to south gable end with chamfered cap. Rear:
wing with mullioned fenestration. Interior not inspected.
