SO 80 NE BISLEY-WITH-LYPIATT LYPIATT PARK

4/98 Dovecote approximately 40m west
of the Mansion

GV I

Dovecote. Medieval. Random rubble limestone; stone slate roof
mostly missing at time of survey (June 1986). Circular. Simple
external walls with 2 square-headed doorways. Projecting eaves
course with vertical slit vents set immediately below. Octagonal
timber lantern with conical roof missing. Internal walls lined
with rows of pigeon holes. Forms part of group with granary
(q.v.).
