Old Post Cottage

Cottage, formerly post office. Mid C18 and mid C19. Brick and flint with brick
dressings, slate roof. L-shaped building with bottom of L, C18 part, on roadside
with blocked openings. Garden side has 2½ storey gable end of C18 building to
left and wide bayed C19 wing to right, 2 storey. Gable end has 3-light casement
on each floor, tile hung gable with 2-light casement and half hipped roof with
large ridge stack. Immediately right is C19 planked door in gabled corrugated-iron
and timber open porch, with to its right a 2-light casement and another above it.
Roof hipped with stack on hip.
