GV II

House. Dated 1712 with extensions in late C18. Brick-effect stucco and
brick with stone dressings, slate roofs and end stacks. Three storeys and
cellars, five bays, glazing bar sashes with open scrolled segmental pediment,
stone quoins and cornice; central cupola with bell and weathervane. One-bay
addition to left and three-bay addition to right, both of two storeys.
Interior C18 staircase, probably later than house; panelling noted in RCHM
(Vol II, p 157) is said to have been removed.
