Small house. C18. Painted rendered rubble and cob walls, wheat reed thatched roof
with brick chimney over left-hand gable end. Asbestos slate roof to C20 extension.
Originally 2-room plan with kitchen/living room left with large hearth, left and
parlour right with stair at rear of kitchen. Extended in C20 at left end by a single
storey lean-to, and at right end by a 2-storey 1-room plan addition.
2 storeys. Symmetrical 2-window south-west front with central doorway. C20 door and
windows. C20 1-window front extension at right.
Interior partly remodelled C20 but retaining large hearth in left-hand room.
One of a group of 4 surviving thatched houses in the small village of Berepper, with
2 of the others on this list. Rose Cottage qv. and Toy Cottage qv.
