Barn, possibly originally a house. Circa C18. Stone rubble. Slate roof with hipped
ends.
Plan: rectangular plan with fireplace in end wall on right (north) with probably
reset C17 granite lintel. Ground floor later used as a shippon and first floor used
for threshing. To south of left hand (south) side wall are the granite posts for an
open-sided horse engine house, the roof structure removed. On the right hand (north)
side wall is a C19 lean-to outshot which originally housed the later machinery
operating the chaff cutter, etc.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Stone rubble external stair near centre with plank door to
left.
Interior: Fireplace in right hand end with probably reset granite hollow chamfered
lintel of circa C17.
