Includes nos. 1 and 3 Church Road. Group of houses forming N end of a row of
houses of varying dates. C18, possibly a reworking of an earlier structure,
and C19. Colourwashed roughcast over timber framed structure. Clay tile
roofs. Main block is 2 storeyed, of 4-room plan. C19 one storey and attics
block projects from rear, forming nos. 1 and 3 Church Road. Main elevation:
mostly 3-light leaded casements, some C20 replacements. No.27 has C20 door,
up brick steps. Doorway to No.29 is to N gable end. Red brick integral
stacks to both gable ends. Rear block has variety of windows and retains some
cast iron lattice casements to gabled dormers.
