SD 27 SE Well House and Cottage

2 houses. c18. Stone rubble, part limewashed, slate roofs. South elevation
of 3 storeys and 3 bays with small 2-storey wing to west return. Ground floor
has segmental-headed windows with C20 glazing; other windows are sashed with
glazing bars. Central entrance. Gable-end stacks, that to west corbelled
out, that to east has rounded shaft. Wing has concrete tiles. North elevation
has 2-storey 3-bay wing with sashed windows with glazing bars and plank door;
gable-end stack. Further wing to west of rear wing forms Well Cottage,
which has concrete tile roof and C20 sash; gable-end stack.
