House. Probably early C17. Stone rubble. Corrugated asbestos roof with gable ends,
probably originally replacing thatch, the top of the left hand gable end wall capped
with rag slates. Stone rubble end stack with slate strings.
Plan: Two room plan with entrance to right of centre, leading directly into larger
left hand room which is heated by an end stack. Smaller unheated room on right.
Circa C19 service wing on left hand end extending to rear, heated by stone rubble end
stack.
Exterior: Two storeys. Almost symmetrical 2-window front. Entrance slightly to
right of centre with square headed chamfered and stopped granite doorframe. Large
circa C19 stone rubble porch in front with corrugated asbestos roof. C20 2-light
casement to left and 1 light window to right. Two 2-light casements with glazing
bars removed on first floor, the left hand window a half dormer with raked slate
roof. End wall of service wing on left hand side.
Interior: Wany chamfered floor-joists. C20 grate to fireplace. First floor not
inspected.
